ARTIST STATEMENT
“What is most exciting to me as an artist is twofold: The constant awe and wonder at the creative process itself, to witness how words, questions and music insinuate themselves into my awareness and demand to be expressed. They have a life of their own, which literally demands to be authentic and does not tolerate manipulation. In that manner my poems have taken me on a spiritual journey of discovery. As an artist it is my deepest wish to share this journey with my audience – to share the endless questions that relentlessly point inwards and help discover an inner Truth – the inevitable Truth that can be discovered underneath our convictions, underneath our polarizing opinions and belief systems and even underneath all our shared hardships.”
What I believed I could will into being has emerged on its own accord.
Many years ago, paintings opened the doors to a journey that has since taken me to the deeper reaches of inner space.
